Southwest Hay & Forage Conference

Each year, the New Mexico Hay Association and NMSU Extension Plant Sciences Department sponsor and coordinate the Southwest Hay & Forage Conference. The event is held in Ruidoso, NM. Producers, scientists, and vendors come from all around the Southwest to learn about the latest research advances and to promote the most current technologies in the hay (and other forage) industries.

The 2024 conference will be held on January 24-26, 2024. Please visit this website or visit the NM Hay Association website for more details to come on the 2024 conference and for online registration.

Pesticide Applicator CEUs: We recognize that pesticide applicator CEUs are an important component of our annual conferences. We are currently working with the NMSU Pesticide Safety Education Program to provide several recorded forage-targeted, CEU trainings, to be made available online in 2023, including linked to the NMHA website at: http://www.nmhay.com/. Those needing CEUs for 2023 will be able to access these trainings at their leisure throughout the year.
